Here you will find my creative fiction, journalism, biographical writing, poetry, and a little artwork.
I have studied at the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. I have also studied at Massey University, Wellington, New Zealand, and have published with scoop.co.nz, Trashe, Self-Inflict Magazine, and TearAway Online.
I've been writing for several years, gaining a place in my first writing competition at age 16, the New Zealand Listener Internet Fiction competition in 1999.
I enjoy writing cyberpunk orientated fiction, my fiction tends to be futuristic; about the shape of existence, and educational; in a way that I hope will expand the awareness of my species.
Lately I have been doing freelance web-design, web application development, technical writing, content writing and other jobs through rentacoder.com.
I also have experience with Windows and Linux system administration and help desk roles.
I like having fun, skateboarding, web design, linux system administration and video games - especially Homeworld, Desert Combat, the Operation Flashpoint series, Command and Conquer, Quake, Deus Ex.
I also like deep thought, musing on subjective and objective reality, philosophy of mind, and general science and religious related issues.
I've had an interest in mind control, telepathy, omnipotency and similar things for a little while now, and some of my writing reflects that.
I'm working on a project at the moment, with regards to advanced intelligences and the question of free-will, warfare, greed, and love; amongst other cyberpunk and ethics related issues. This will be the topic of some of the writing here.
There are three categories of fiction on the site, current era, science fiction, and fantasy, each at times merges into another, along with eclectic poetry and other amusements, and some biographical writing, and writing that might seem too strange to be true.
Also in the past I have played with image and music making software, some of the results may be available here sometime.
A year or two ago, I was curious about the most dangerous game. To play that game, is life and death itself, which, in a very real way, is the subject of my current project, “Reality Operating System”.
I live in Wellington, it's a great city with wonderful weather and a lot of lovely people and places to go; although lately it's been getting a little boring and I'm thinking of moving soon. I like computers, the internet, skateboarding and hanging with friends, singing rowdy Irish drinking songs, philosophy, questioning the nature of existance and logos, and creating a new form of spirituality.
